5 Best Treats for Your Dog!
Berry Frozen Paw
I love making treat for my pups. Just knowing that everything I put in is all natural and healthy for them makes not only me happy, but my dogs happy as well. The first treat I like to make and my dogs love during the summer times are these frozen treats in the shape of paw prints. It is super simple to make here are the ingredients:
- 1/3 cup Geek yogurt
- 1 cup Almond milk or water
- 6 Strawberries
- 8 Blueberries
- Ice (optional)
I usually measure with my heart then blend it all together in a blender. Once its blended I then pour it into paw shaped silicone mold. Freeze it for 1-2 hours then enjoy!
Pumpkin Banana Treats
I usually mix in the wet ingredients then whisk them together. Then add the oat flour and form a ball.
- 1 ripe banana mashed.
- ½ cup pumpkin (canned or pureed)
- 2 tbs melted coconut oil.
- 2 cups oat flour
Let the dough sit for 15 minutes before rolling out. Once its rolled out just cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Then bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. And enjoy!
Scooby Snacks
- 3 cups oat flour
- 1 banana
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
Blend it all into a dough then roll the dough out to be 1cm thick. Cut into your desired shape and place unto a baking sheet with wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 16-18 minutes. Let them cool for 10 minutes and enjoy!
V-day Biscuits!
- 2 cups of whole wheat flour
- 1 cup applesauce
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tbs of beet powder
Mix the ingredients together into a bowl to make a dough. Once dough is formed roll dough out and cut into your desired shape. Place unto a baking sheet with wax paper then bake the treats at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. As the icing I mix beet powder with Greek yogurt. Once biscuits are done set aside to cool for 10 minutes then enjoy!
The Ultimate Pup Cup.
This recipe makes about two pup cups depending on the size cups you have. Here are the ingredients.
- 1 frozen banana (cut into chucks)
- ¼ cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1 tbs coconut oil
- 1 heaping spoon of peanut butter
Blend the banana and coconut milk together in a blender until smooth. Do a pup Taste test (optional). Then pour small amount of banana mixture into a cup. Just enough to cover the bottom. Next microwave coconut oil and peanut butter for 30 seconds then whisk together. Pour a thin layer on top of the banana ice cream. Freeze cups in freezer for 2 hours or until peanut butter layer is hard. Then top with whipped cream and enjoy!
